Reciprocity Failure

Reciprocity Failure is the law by which the sensitivity of film is lessened through overexposure. As photography continues to explode as the chosen medium of our time, we are continually blasted with images on an every day basis from billboards and magazine ads to facebook photo albums and a friend’s cell phone camera. It’s all to easy with this visual photographic overload to become desensitized to what’s important to us, remember what matters most, and think back to the real reason we pick up a camera and take aim.”

Recfail is Matt Lingo’s new photo blog. After using LiveJournal for so long, it was time for him to move on and create a place that he could showcase his amazing work.
Although Recfail is primarily Matt’s blog, he was kind enough to ask me and a number of other incredible photographers to be a regular contributor.
The idea behind Recfail was to have a fixed gear blog that only contains original contents. No reblogging of others work and all work that is posted on the blog is to be created under the Recfail name.

I can’t even begin to tell you how stoked I am to be part of the RecFail team. To be associated with some of the best fixed gear photographers in the world is a real honour.
A lot of good things to come, so be sure to keep RecFail in your bookmarks and visit regularly.

Thanks again Matt, hope everything I contribute will be to the standard.
